Attendance and Punctuality

Important Dates for Term 2

The Schools Active Travel Team
In these darker months, the Active Travel Team at Bristol City Council is promoting our Be 'Bright Be Seen' campaign to keep people safer on the roads. Bad weather and low light conditions over the autumn and winter can make the visibility poor for drivers, so it’s important for everyone to stay safe.
The Active Travel Team has some helpful information on how you can look out for yourself and others, especially the little ones in your life. See the full information here: https://travelwest.info/for-communities/tips-and-resources/winter-road-safety/
If you need extra lights or hi-vis equipment our Roadshow Team will be out in the city centre at rush hour every day for the first week of November giving them out for free! Dr Bike will also be there, providing free Bike health checks and fixing minor issues.
Find the team at the following locations:
· Monday 2nd Nov from 3.30pm to 6.30pm at the Neptune Statue on the Centre.
· Tuesday 3rd Nov from 3.30pm to 6.30pm in Castle Park at the Bristol Bridge entrance.
· Wednesday 4th Nov from 3.30pm to 6.30pm by Meads Reach Bridge (the Cheese Grater Bridge)
· Thursday 5th Nov from 3.30pm to 6.30pm we will be at Princes Street Bridge outside of the Arnolfini.
If you are working with us to achieve your Modeshift STARS Sustainable Award, this initiative can be added using one of the following codes:
· R10 Be Bright Be Seen Activities - initiative
· RBLC3 School engages with local community to promote safe and active travel across the area - consultation
