Friday 13th June 2025

This week in assembly we discussed our Value of the week, 'Respect.'  We watched a video clip about what respect meant to different people and how they apply it in their lives.  We also looked at protective characteristics and what they mean and learnt what the word 'discrimination' meant.  The children were able to talk confidently to each other about why some of the signs/job adverts we shared were discriminatory to different groups of people.  Maybe you could ask your children how many of the protected characteristics they remember using the symbols below as a guide.

A number of our Values Certificate winners were recognised for showing respect this week. The recipients this week were Arlo, Nye, Isla, Tomek, Dylan, Ellie, Alicja, Benaiah, Agnes and Harrison.

CST Parent & Carer Survey

Please find below a link to this year's CST parents and carers survey. This year, we will be closing the survey before the end of term on Monday 30th June at 9.00am. This form asks you about your experience of your child's education. The responses are treated anonymously and confidentially to identify what we are doing well and what we can do better. If you have more than one child at school, you only need to complete the survey once. This survey comes from CST and is the same across all of our schools and academies. Thank you for taking time to complete these questions.
