In our whole school assembly on Monday, we thought about the upcoming Easter weekend. We looked at why it is important to Christians and how it is observed, including the traditions of enjoying hot cross buns or eggs over this period!
We wish all of our families a happy Easter and we hope you all enjoy the upcoming holiday period. We will see you back at school on Monday 20th April.

Goodbye Denise
This week we said goodbye to Denise who is retiring. She has been a member of our kitchen staff for over twenty years serving countless meals to VPPS children over that time. Thank you Denise and good luck for the future!
STEM Week Volunteers Needed
We are delighted to let you know that we will be holding a STEM Week at school from 1st to 5th June.
This year, our theme is Curiosity, in line with this year’s National Science Week focus and our own school values. Throughout the week, pupils will be taking part in a range of exciting activities designed to spark their curiosity about the world around them and to deepen their understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
As part of our celebrations, we would love to explore careers in STEM and help our pupils see the many exciting pathways these subjects can lead to. To support this, we are inviting parents and carers who work in a STEM-related field to get involved.
If you have a career in STEM and would be willing and able to give some of your time to:
Talk to pupils about your profession, and/or
Run a short workshop or practical session
We would be absolutely delighted to hear from you.
If you have a preference for a particular year group, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate this.
If you are interested in supporting our STEM Week, please contact the school office with your details.
Thank you in advance for helping us inspire curiosity and ambition in our pupils. We look forward to an exciting and engaging week!
