Welcome to our school website - please come in and take a look around. You can click on "Newsletters" to see our weekly school newsletter and termly curriculum newsletters.

As you are aware, we welcomed a team of inspectors from Ofsted to the school this week. Thank you to all of the parents and carers who sent kind messages of support and best wishes to our staff or completed the "Parent View" survey during the inspection. Your support for the school team was really appreciated during a very busy few days.
During the time the inspectors were here, our children were a credit to the school and and our staff worked incredibly hard to make sure the inspection ran as smoothly as possible. Together, their efforts meant that we were able to show off all of the aspects of school life in its broadest sense that make Victoria Park special.
We cannot share the specific outcomes or the final report card from the inspection until it has been formally moderated and published (usually within 30 working days of the inspection). We will, of course, notify you as soon as the report is published.

Values Certificates
Congratulations to our Values Certificate winners this week who were Mohammed, Marek, Noorain, Evy, Frankie, Coraline, Ephraim, Reuben, Macsen, Mani, Oscar and Trixie.
Attendance and Punctuality
We had a good start to Term 4 last week with high attendance and less lates than the end of term 3. Well done everyone.
We have seen quite a rise in the number of holiday requests we have received over the last few weeks. Whilst we do understand that families want to enjoy a holiday together and that the price of these vary significantly when comparing term time to school holidays, we would urge you to remember the importance of children being in school every day. If you are considering a holiday, please try your best to get an absence request in with as much notice as possible so that we can discuss this with you. We would also politely request that you do not phone your child in ill if you are actually away on holiday as this creates a culture of dishonesty which goes against our ethos of nurturing honesty with the children.
The classes with the best attendance last week were:
| 1st | Willow | 100% |
| 2nd | Lime | 99.33% |
| 3rd | Juniper | 98.62% |
The most improved class last week was:
| Mangrove | +6.42% |
The classes with the least number of late marks last week were;
| 1st | Birch | 0 lates |
| 2nd | Willow, Bay, Nutmeg and Maple | 2 lates |
| 3rd | Mulberry, Beech, Lime and Hazel | 3 lates |
Amplify Bristol Beacon Concert
This week KS2 choir had the privilege of performing at the Bristol Beacon, alongside musicians from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and children from across the schools in the Amplify trust. The concert was a celebration of togetherness, and the children worked so hard. It was an amazing evening and they should all be immensely proud of their efforts!

As part of the National Year of Reading, with this year’s theme “Go All In,” a Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to our school. The fair will take place in the school library after school from 3:15pm on Tuesday 5th to Thursday 7th May 2026. Parents and carers will be able to purchase books using a QR code or with cash, and there will be a special 3 for 2 offer available for those wishing to buy more than one book. This is a great opportunity to encourage reading for pleasure, and every purchase helps raise money to earn free books for our school. So come along once you have collected your child/children to browse the range of books available!
