Welcome to our school website - please come in and take a look around. You can click on "Newsletters" to see our weekly school newsletter and termly curriculum newsletters.
Our value of the week has been determination. Whilst we did not have our usual whole school assembly on Monday, teachers in the school have still been trying to catch children showing determination in school this week. Our Values Certificate winners this week were Ethan, Omar, Eyra, Tomek, Hoobie, Isobel, Kayleb, Esme, Freddie, Sommer and Jibril. Well done to all of you!
A final big thank you to Lucy and Beth from ArtLab for all of the workshops they have done with the children over the last 3 weeks. They have been brilliant. You will be able to see the art work that has been produced during Art on the Hill (details below).
The school will be open during Art on the Hill between 10.30am and 4.00pm on Saturday 5th October. During the day, you will be able to come and view the children's art, buy refreshments and participate in workshops. These workshops have limited spaces so please book ahead: https://artonthehill.org.uk/workshops
One of our fabulous parents, Comedian Amy Mason will be hosting a relaxed and fun open mic comedy show (link above), with all profits going to the PTFA.
The PTFA will also be selling cakes and drinks at the event to fundraise for the artwork sessions that enabled the exhibition, please come along to support us. We will also be taking bookings for prints of the artwork so you can buy your child's piece!
If you're donating a cake or other treat, please take it to the office today OR bring it to the Breakfast Club entrance between 9.30 and 10am tomorrow.
Lastly, we need another volunteer for clear down after the event between 3.30 and 4.30pm, if you can spare an hour we'd really appreciate it, please sign up here: https://classlist.page.link/f5mBKqevq29ffBRBA
Tri-Golf
Last week, a group of children attended a tri-golf event hosted by the Ashton Park School Sports Partnership. The children practised their putting and chipping skills through various activities with coaching provided by a professional golfer. They all had a fantastic time and represented the school brilliantly!

South Bristol Livable Neighbourhoods Project - have your say
Bristol City Council needs your help to design safer and quieter streets. If you live work, visit, study or play in the BS3 area including Bedminster, Southville or Windmill Hill, have your say at: www.bristol.gov.uk/sbln-engagement.
BCC want to get as many people involved as possible to help design safer and quieter streets, encouraging walking, cycling and wheeling for shorter journeys, improving air quality, enhancing the public realm and green spaces, and improving access to local high streets. Potential changes could include measures to reduce traffic taking short cuts through residential streets and near schools, improved crossings to help connect neighbourhoods, planting more trees, providing more benches and community activity spaces and improving lighting.
If you have any questions or concerns about the South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood project and how it could affect the area around the school, BCC council officers will be running a drop-in session held at the school gates at school pick up time from 2:45pm-4pm on Tuesday 8th October.
