Art on the Hill
A final big "Thank You!" to Lucy and Beth from ArtLab for all of the workshops they have done with the children over the last 3 weeks. They have been brilliant. Please do get down to the school tomorrow to see all the fantastic art that has been created.
The school will be open between 10.30am and 4.00pm on Saturday 3rd October. During the day, you will be able to come and view the children's art, buy refreshments and participate in workshops. These workshops may have limited spaces so first come first serve.
The PTFA will also be selling cakes and drinks at the event to fundraise for the artwork sessions that enabled the exhibition, please come along to support us.
If you're donating a cake or other treat, please bring it to the Breakfast Club entrance between 9.30 and 10am tomorrow.
Look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
Continued Internet Access Issues
Thank you everybody for your continued understanding whilst we have no internet access. The issue is out of our control as it is related to the wider system operated by Bristol Council. Unfortunately for us, this affects all of our systems connected to wifi and the internet, including our phones. We have a number of mitigations and "work arounds" in place but it does mean our communication channels are not operating as normal (including the detail in this newsletter)!
At the moment, we have been advised that it is unlikely that this will be resolved for the start of next week.
Assuming we still won't have access on Monday, please:
- Email any absences and alternative pick ups to victoriaparkp@victoriaparkprimary.co.uk as early as possible.
- Note that if we need to contact you, we will continue to contact you via phone calls, which will come from a withheld number.
- The rest of the school day will operate as usual.
We will update you when we have more information. We will put information in the emergency pop up on the home page of our website.
Thank you for your patience during this situation.
