This week, we have been celebrating our school value of Curiosity. Mr Gunner challenged all of the pupils to ask as many questions as possible, to show they are curious about the world around them!
This term in school, pupils have been working hard in their art lessons to create colourful masterpieces for Art on the Hill 2023. Art on the Hill will once again be an in-person event, showcasing local art across the Windmill Hill and Victoria Park area, throughout community spaces and homes. We are delighted to be taking part again! Please come to see the range of fantastic artwork on display in the main hall which will be open from 11am to 3pm. Refreshments will be on sale with thanks to the PTFA.
Harvest Singing
On Tuesday 17th October, we hope you will be able to join us for a few Autumnal songs in the middle playground to celebrate Harvest Time. This is an informal opportunity for our pupils to sing to you, and will be split into two performances of three songs each.
We hope you will be able to join us. In the event of bad weather, we will reschedule to a brighter day if possible.
We feel very fortunate to be part of Bristol School Streets - this means that Atlas Road and some of Raymend Road are closed to most traffic at drop-off and pick-up time. However, some vehicles are still allowed onto the roads (for example, blue badge holders and residents) as well as cyclists. Please do not walk or scoot down the middle of the road - this could be very dangerous. We have talked to children about this in assembly.
Celebrating 'Second Hand September'
Thank you to everyone who has donated their outgrown school uniform to the PTFA's second hand uniform sales - please keep it coming! In the last year, the PTFA have raised over £1,000 from uniform sales. There are five physical sales in school during the year; the next ones coming up are after school on 20th October (last day of term) and at the winter fair on 9th December.
