Welcome to our school website - please come in and take a look around. You can click on "Newsletters" to see our weekly school newsletter and termly curriculum newsletters.

In assemblies this week, we have been looking at three significant events being marked by families in our school community. Lunar New Year, Lent and Ramadan all began during half term, so we looked closely at what these events are and why they are important. We also thought about the similarities and differences between these events as we reflected on the British Value of tolerance and how it ties our wider community together.

Congratulations to our Values Certificates winners this week who were Lorenzo, Lily, Aila, Tamara, Junior, Zoe, Sienna, Thomas, Jackson, Selma, Arwen and Lawrence.
Attendance and Punctuality
Our whole school attendance upto the end of term 3 is 95.77% which is just above National Average. Thank you to everyone for helping us raise our attendance and sharing the positive messages that every day in school counts. We all need to work together this term to keep our attendance above the national average.
This week we celebrated term 3 success for attendance in assembly by awarding prizes for the class with the best attendance in term 3 and the most punctual class. Each winning class will have £30 to spend on a reward of their choice.
The classes with the highest attendance in term 3 were:
| Class | Attendance | |
| 1st | Mulberry | 98.52% |
| 2nd | Lime | 98.39% |
| 3rd | Willow | 97.38% |
The classes with the least number of children arriving late to school last term were:
| Class | Number of Lates | |
| 1st | Willow | 11 |
| 2nd | Hazel and Birch | 12 |
| 3rd | Juniper | 17 |
Bay Class Trip to Watercress Farm
Bay Class had a brilliant day out at Watercress Farm! The sun was shining (luckily!), although the mud definitely kept us on our toes. The children loved exploring, and getting stuck into the experience - quite literally in some cases! A big thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for all your help and support; we really appreciate it!
Year 2 Dance Performance Screening
We were delighted to welcome parents for a special screening of Bay and Magnolias’ fantastic dance performance at Ashton Gate Secondary School. It was wonderful to share the children’s hard work and see how much everyone enjoyed watching the performance together. Thank you to all the families who came along to support; it made the occasion even more special!
World Book Day - Thursday 5th March
We are excited to be celebrating World Book Day next Thursday.
Throughout the day, the children will be taking part in a live online author event, as well as enjoying a range of fun reading-related activities in class designed to promote a love of books and storytelling.
As always, children (and staff!) are invited to dress up as their favourite book character. Alternatively, they may choose to come dressed in something comfortable and cosy that they enjoy wearing when reading.
We are looking forward to a wonderful day celebrating books together.

Green Team winners
We are excited to share that we have won £500 from the Ovo Foundation Nature Prize. Our Green Team have been celebrating and we are going to install a new rainwater planter to add greenery and shade to our playground, as well as reducing the puddles.
