Tuesday 22nd July 2025

We have spent the last two days of term celebrating the different aspects of school life this year.

In assembly today we watched a film round up of the year at Victoria Park. To the tune of the latest Big Summer Sing anthem "Born to be Wild" we reminded ourselves of all the fantastic opportunities and events we have shared together this year. We also wished Mrs Lucas good luck as she goes off on maternity leave and thank you to Andrew from the play team who is leaving for pastures new next year.

Yesterday, we also celebrated our final list of values certificates winners from last week. Well done Theo, Rafi, Rex, Anna, Kit, Basel, Tariro, Haroun, Sonny, Aoife and Sofiane.  We also awarded the "Old House Cup" to Campbell as this term's winners of the House Competition.

We ended the academic year with a brilliant Year 6 show yesterday and their leavers' assembly this morning. From September, they are all going to various destinations where we know they will thrive in their next chapter of their educational lives.

So it has been a whirlwind end of year. Thank you to all of staff for their hard work and dedication to our school this year, our parents and carers for their support and all of our children for making our school the great place it is. Enjoy your summer breaks and we will see you all back here in September!
