Friday 4th April 2025

During our Whole School Assembly at the start of the week, the children heard about how our Muslim community celebrated Eid on Monday to mark the end of Ramadan.  As part of our Celebration Assembly today, we also looked forward to the upcoming break by finding out about why Christians celebrate Easter and the significance of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We also thought about the similarities and differences between how these two events are observed and celebrated.

We also awarded our weekly Values Certificates during Celebration Assembly. These were awarded to children who were role models for any of the school values. This week's recipients were Zukaima, Rory, Zoe, Noorain, Tilly, Olivia, Abdulahi, Millie, Ewan, Jimmy and Henry.

We wish all of our families a happy Easter and we hope you all enjoy the upcoming holiday period. We will see you back at school on Tuesday 22nd April.

Eid Celebration

Easter Preparations in Reception

Today Reception have enjoyed making our Easter cards and playing different Easter themed activities as well as read the Easter story and learnt the symbolism behind Easter eggs and hot crossed buns. Reception are greatly looking forward to the first week back in Term 5 when our chicks will be arriving and we have our Easter Egg hunt!

Earth Day 2025 - Wear Green
