It's been a very creative week in school with Year 3 rehearsing and performing their Play in a Week with Travelling Light Theatre Company. The whole year group take part, dividing into actors, dancers, musicians, designers and customer services. Tonight's performances promise to be creative, hilarious and testament to a week's worth of hard work. Our thanks go to Travelling Light Theatre Company for another fantastic week, and to our PTFA for funding this magical experience every year. To everyone in Year 3 - 'break a leg!'

Staffing News

Miss Derlet has made the difficult decision to leave Victoria Park Primary School at the end of this term. She will be exploring new employment and life opportunities, including a possible move back to France, where she grew up. We know Miss Derlet will be missed, especially by the children in Year 2 who have known her since Reception. We wish her the very best of luck in future!

School Library

We are delighted to announce that the school library is open from 3:15pm to 3:25pm each day, for you to visit with your children when you pick them up. Children may borrow a book to take home and enjoy. This is possible due to our group of volunteer parents who are now fully trained up on the library system. Thank you to Mrs Priddis for organising and training our volunteers. We hope you can visit the library soon!

• The is a free Spring Holiday Club at Redcatch Community Gardens for children who are eligible for Free School Meals and aged 8-12yrs. Click below for details.

• Party Peeps are hosting an Easter Party at Redcatch Community Centre on 4th April. They have given free family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) to school to give away. If you would like to enter a free draw for a chance to win the tickets, fill in this form. A winner will be selected at random from all entrants on Thursday 21st March. Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim families! This year we expect Eid al-fitr to fall during the school holidays, so we will hold our school celebrations in June, around the time of Eid al-adha. Have a lovely weekend!
