Friday 14th July 2023

This week, every pupil has taken part in a Circus Skills workshop, taught by Circomedia. Pupils from Reception through to Year 6 tried their hands at juggling, plate spinning, tight rope walking, balancing, diablo throwing and more. This was a great finale to our year of performance skills and theatre shows! Here are some photographs from across the week.

Sports Day Results

The weather was kind to us this week, which meant that our third and final sports day event went ahead for years 4, 5 & 6! Before we announce the overall results, here are some pictures from this week's event.

Well done to all the children who represented their houses in running, jumping and throwing events plus a few sports day classics like the egg & spoon race and our new favourite - tug of war! Thank you to the sports leaders Dylan, Lucy, Teagan, Liz and Meli who helped, and to all the adults and children who came along to support, cheer and encourage the pupils.

The results are as follows:-

Return Books to School

Please return any reading books you have at home, before the summer holidays. These may be from the school library, the class room or our book boxes. We need all the books back over the summer for sorting, ready for the new school year. Thank you!

We would like to say thank you to our temporary staff who have joined us this year. Our school has a strong relationship with Prospero Teaching, who have supplied us with long term and short term staff members, including Mrs Ananthakrishnan in Reception, Mr McGhie in Year 2, Mr Sennett in Year 4 and Miss Bellamy in Year 5. We have really enjoyed working with you all and wish you the best of luck for the future!
