Create your own constellation art

As our learning is linked with space at the moment your art task today is to create your own constellations. A constellation is a group of stars that form a pattern when viewed from Earth.

To create your own constellations get a blank piece of paper and draw dots on different areas of the page, then use a ruler to draw straight lines between the dots  (like a dot to dot!) to create your constellation. Practice a few times and then think about the pattern of stars you would like to create. You could use a pencil, chalk, white paint, anything you have at home! Once you have created a constellation make sure you give it a name.

Below is an example of some constellations. When it is a starry night next make sure you look out for any constellations in the sky!
